How far in advance of the income tax deadline should I make an appointment?
It depends on what is convenient for you. Normally we can take appointments within 24 hours. We also give you the opportunity to come in and wait for a preparer or to drop off the taxes to be picked up later.
How long until I receive my refund?
If you file electronically you can have your refund deposited in your bank 10-17 days after your return is accepted by the IRS, or it will be mailed 4 weeks after your return is accepted.
I owe money; can I pay in installments?
Yes. You can fill out form 9465, and the IRS will review it. There is a small charge from the IRS to initiate the installment plan.
Can I file with my last paystub?
No. The IRS requires W-2 forms.
Should I pay estimated taxes?
Your tax preparer will look over your return, make that determination with you, and if required, provide you with the proper forms.
